Without regular meter calibration, a meter like any other measuring instrument will drift out of accuracy thereby impacting directly on business performance and profit margins. We are a center of excellence in Volumetric Calibration for the liquid fuel trade and where accurate measurement is required. We provide a comprehensive verification service for bulk fuel meter measuring systems and bulk fuel dipstick measuring systems, ensuring that they are accurate and fit for trade use.

Assizing is a statutory requirement if a bulk flow meter is to be used for trade purposes. Once out of calibration a meter either overthrows, that is delivering more product than is should at the meter owners cost, or under throws that is delivering less to the product recipient, both of which have a negative impact to both the meter/product owner and the public.

NDT Inspection Solutions flow meter assizing is conducted by our experienced and qualified technicians using our prover tank and Master meters. To ensure conformance to regional and international standards accuracy, NDTIS prover tank, and master meters are independently assized annually or whenever there is a need to by The Trade Measures Department of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. NDT Inspection Solutions also offers calibration and certification of bulk storage tanks and Road Tanker compartments in incremental quantities. We also provide ullage measurements of the compartments at known volumes.
